Emma Tung Art

Illustrator based in Somerville MA

Emma Tung is a queer and disabled AAPI illustrator whose work celebrates nature, community, and healing through joyful, plant-inspired imagery. With a background in plant molecular biology, their artistic practice draws on a decade of scientific curiosity alongside a deep personal relationship with flowers, fruits, and growth. Each piece honors the beauty of botanical forms and queer community, framing fruits and flowers as symbols of identity, resilience, and joy. Emma Tung has exhibited widely throughout the New England area, with recent group exhibitions at the the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, the Pao Arts Center, the Somerville Museum, and the South End Arts Association, including several juried shows. My work can be found for sale at Craftland in Providence RI, Lupine Flower Co in Somerville MA, Seaside Creations in Bailey Island ME, and Narrative in Somerville MA.
